The film is based on the book Margaret Wise Brown: Awakened by the Moon by Leonard S. Marcus and tells the story of beloved children’s book author Margaret Wise Brown, one of the preeminent children’s authors with work including whose classic books include Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny.
