Fanning Sisters’ WWII Movie ‘The Nightingale’ Flies Closer To Easter 2027

TriStar Pictures’ The Nightingale starring sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning is shifting a month forward on the 2027 release-date calendar, from February 12 to March 19.

The move is due to Sony wanting to playing the movie into the Easter weekend holiday, which is on March 28 next year, in addition to taking advantage of college springs breaks with 30% off around that time. There are also no films dated for women in March, hence the pic will serve as counter-programing against Paramount’s Sonic 4, also out March 19.
