Trump says he won’t sign housing bill, which could become law anyway

President Donald Trump announced Friday on Truth Social that he will not sign the bipartisan housing bill “in PROTEST” of Congress’ failure to pass the voter-ID legislation known as the SAVE America Act.

Midnight marks the end of a 10-day window, excluding Sundays, at which point the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act would automatically become law unless Trump vetoes it before. He did not threaten a veto in his social media post.
