NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – As the city of New Orleans wrestles with its financial problems, tensions between the state and the city persist.

During a one-on-one interview with Mayor Helena Moreno, FOX 8 asked Moreno whether the city could resolve its financial situation with state help.

“So, let me just say that, you know, ultimately, the governor and I, we’re going to meet, we’re going to sit down. It’s just something that is going to happen. There’s too many factors at play that will ensure that this meeting happens,” Moreno said.
