As John Leguizamo joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, he found himself immersed in the role in one major way.

The Golden Globe nominee recalled that he “could not see” for up to 14 hours a day on the set of the blockbuster, which is now playing in theaters, due to the contact lenses he had to wear in portraying Odysseus’ (Matt Damon) blind servant Eumaeus.
