The Maine Secretary of State’s Office announced on Sunday that absentee ballots for the Nov. 3 general election are available for request.
This general election, voters will select Maine’s governor, one senator, congressional representatives for both districts and a variety of local races.
To request an absentee ballot, voters can go online or contact their town or city clerk. Once requested, voters can track their ballot’s progress online. According to the Maine Secretary of State’s Office, ballots will begin to be issued 30 days before the Nov. 3 election, which is Sept. 4.
