MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – City of Madison crews cleared out the intersection of Williamson and Baldwin streets, nearly two weeks after a Madison police officer shot and killed 38-year-old Corey Ruiz at the location.
WMTV journalists on scene observed city trucks, along with the Wisconsin State Patrol arriving around 4:45 a.m. to streets around the intersection.
Initially, Madison Police told our crew on scene it was a city operation and police would help if it got violent.
