LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Nebraska Secretary of State’s office announced on Thursday that organizers with both the Nebraska Working People Party and the America First Party have collected enough signatures to move forward in the formation process.
Secretary of State Robert Evnen has sent a letter to the party organizers notifying them of next steps.
Nebraska Working People Party organizers submitted completed petitions on July 14 and the America First Party Organizers submitted completed petitions on July 15. Both petitions reached the statutory thresholds, and verification ceased once each petition reached 110% of this required number of signatures.
