SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (KABC) — A fast-growing fire is burning in Santa Clarita on Saturday evening, prompting evacuation orders and warnings for several nearby neighborhoods.
The Tasha Fire was first reported shortly after 4:30 p.m. near Sierra Highway and Needham Ranch Parkway, according to Los Angeles County Fire.
By later Saturday evening, the fire had grown to approximately 20 acres with 30% containment.
Several neighborhoods in the area were placed under evacuation orders and warnings at the height of the fire. By 9:40 p.m., all of the evacuation orders and most of the evacuation warnings were lifted.
