A native of Omaha, Neb., Chris Bakunas first fell in love with Arkansas when he visited the Natural State as a teenager. Because of his love for the Ozarks, he enrolled at the University of Arkansas, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture in May 2012.
“I guess since I was a kid, I always just liked designing things,” Bakunas said. “I started in landscape design, moved to architecture, and then found there was a way to combine both of them.”
