Lauren Blass started working in commercial real estate after a 15-year career in commerce marketing.
The Bentonville native took a sabbatical for more than a year after serving as senior vice president at VML, leading the commerce marketing business for The Coca-Cola Co. in North America. A mother of three children, she wanted a break from the travel requirements and the long work hours.
During her sabbatical, she was working with her husband, Alex Blass, president of Blue Ribbon Industries, on deals related to 27-acre mixed-use development Pinnacle Village in Rogers and 130-acre neighborhood Trade Winds in Springdale.
