Democratic candidate for U.S. Congressional District 11 in Florida James Pericola won his party’s primary Tuesday, earning 46.4% of the vote with 99% of the precincts reporting.
He faced two other Democrats, Royal Webster and Dan Williams in the primary.
Pericola outearned his fellow Democrats in the primary, earning $116,000 as of the June 30 reporting deadline. Although that haul was substantial among his Democratic peers, it’s also a lot less than Republican Joe Strada’s haul of over $5 million in the same time frame.
