Following the passing of 2x Oscar nominee and 11x Grammy winner, Dolly Parton, AMC Theatres will be holding a retrospective of the multihyphenate with two of her movies, 1989’s Steel Magnolias and 1982’s The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
The cinematic homage will be begin on Friday, Aug. 28 and go through Wednesday, Sept. 2.
AMC will present the pics at approximately 200 locations across the United States, including AMC theatres throughout Parton’s home state of Tennessee. Tickets will be available at AMC’s Fan Faves value pricing.
