At least two people were killed in a mass shooting in a downtown Minneapolis apartment building Wednesday that left three police officers among those injured, officials said.
The shooter was also confirmed dead, officials said.
Seven patients, including one who died, were brought to a nearby hospital, the city said on X. Three of the injured were in surgery with gunshot wounds, CNN affiliate KARE reported.
Sgt. Garrett Parten called the mass shooting a “tragic scene” that “has impacted numerous lives” during a news conference on Wednesday.
