New blood wanted: Israeli politics needs an infusion of unpolluted leaders

I am partial to the argument that, specifically at this time of heightened strategic risk, Israel needs to elect or reelect leaders with significant security and diplomatic experience.

But I am convinced that Israel also needs to elect a new, younger generation of bright and believing, unsullied, and notionally more honest politicians – even if they are “green.”

I am certain that there is a capable and courageous next generation of Israeli leaders to take the reins of state – many of them the fearless heroes of Israel’s recent wars.

Therefore, I eagerly await the day, perhaps in the 2028 or 2030 elections,
