DALLAS, Texas (WINK)—Republicans wrapped up night one of their midterm political convention as large crowds filled the American Airlines Center.
The event marked a first-of-its-kind approach for a midterm convention, drawing large crowds to the Dallas arena despite early safety concerns and questions about how the event would unfold.
Gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds took center stage during primetime, making the case for his party’s direction.
“Make no mistake. The Democrats created the inflation that crippled families and we the Republican Party. We have the resume, the credentials, the plans and the policies to get our country back on track,” Donalds said.
