PHOENIX (AZFamily) — One year after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated during a rally at Utah Valley University, Turning Point USA is showing financial growth while facing questions about its political influence without the man who built the organization.
The organization unveiled a statue of Kirk on the anniversary of his death Thursday. Supporters gathered at Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix to mark the day.
“He honestly had the biggest impact that any single man could have had on my generation except Jesus,” one supporter said.
Another supporter pointed to Kirk’s willingness to appear in public despite the risk.
