Netflix is rounding out the cast of This Summer Will Be Different, its series adaptation of Carley Fortune’s best-selling novel, with some familiar faces and a touch of Anne of Green Gables, which inspired the book.
Joining the ensemble are Malin Akerman (The Hunting Wives, Billions) as “Aunt Stacy”, Megan Follows (Buried in Barstow) as “Cheryl”, Nadine Bhabha (Heated Rivalry, Slo Pitch) as “Farah”, and Matias Lucas (The Order) as “Carter” in the Prince Edward Island-set contemporary romance.
