CHATSWORTH, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Three people are dead and several more are injured after a violent crash between a Metro bus and a vehicle in Chatsworth on Tuesday evening.
Shocking AIR7 video from above the scene shows a Ford SUV smashed into the left side of a Metro bus. AIR7 watched as firefighters worked to extricate trapped victims from the bus.
The crash happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Nordhoff Street near De Soto Avenue. It appears the bus was crossing the intersection when it was T-boned by the SUV, sending both vehicles onto the curbside.
