Incumbent, political newcomer to face off in race for Texas House District 91

Republican incumbent state Rep. David Lowe and Democratic political newcomer Yisak Worku will face off in the Texas House District 91 race in the Nov. 3 election.

Lowe beat out Kyle Morris in the Republican primary earlier this year. Worku ran unopposed.

Lowe was elected to the seat in 2024 after defeating longtime incumbent Stephanie Klick in the primary runoff. He is a retired Army combat veteran and former law enforcement and corrections officer.
