The new Skydance has unveiled its board of directors, effective immediately, led by chairman and CEO David Ellison and including newcomers Laurene Powell Jobs, founder and president of Emerson Collective, and Bobby Kotick, founder and former CEO of Activision.
They will service as independent directors.
Co-CEO Ynon Kreiz, who joined Skydance last week, also has a seat.
Powell Jobs is highly influential leader in business and philanthropy and committed investor in journalism and media. Her nonprofit Emerson Collective investments include majority stakes in The Atlantic and Anonymous Content.
