WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Signs promising $5,000 if voters choose Republican candidates and claiming Democrats will raise gas prices have been popping up across west Wichita.
The Sedgwick County Elections Commissioner’s office says it has received dozens of calls about the signs, but says it is not up to the office to decide if the signs are legal.
Resident wants signs removed
Ashleigh Pauly, who wants the signs taken down, said she first noticed one near 119th Street and 13th Street.
“I was driving home from breakfast this morning and turned at the corner of 119th and 13th and saw the sign,” Pauly said.
