EXCLUSIVE: Amazon is developing the new romantic comedy series Settling, from creators Briana Pozner and Colin Lupe. Justine Lupe (Nobody Wants This, Succession) will lead the show, and Will Gluck (Anyone But You, Easy A) is attached to direct, sources tell Deadline.
The pilot script was optioned by Michael Eisner’s Tornante, which partnered with Olive Bridge and together brought the script to Amazon, which has optioned it for development, we hear.
Written by Pozner, Settling is a half-hour rom-com following Jessy (Justine Lupe), who has always seen commitment as limiting. Max finds it to be a lot of pressure.
