With Election Day just two weeks away, candidates in some of Texas’ highest-profile races are making a final push for votes, far away from the debate stage.
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton drew approximately 300 people to a rally in Richmond on Tuesday night, his second campaign appearance in the Houston area that day. His Democratic opponent, James Talarico, was campaigning in Tyler.
Paxton’s Richmond appearance was part of a two-week bus tour across Texas, giving supporters an opportunity to hear directly from the state’s attorney general.
