Here in the Tech Corner, where so many things come to be, we know the old adage of speed, quality, or price. You can have any two you want! Although this may be true, we like to support organizations and spotlight companies from time to time, making a run at all three. Today we’re talking about Technolene.
Everyone from the Geek Squad to your crazy uncle who’s “good with computers,” we see people looking for help with their technology. There are the individual users and power users alike on one end and the giant Inc. and Fortune 500 companies on the other end. So, who helps the middle person that has 5-50 people in an organization do 7 figures but not 8? It’s a good question, but this might be one of the biggest untapped markets on the planet, especially when it comes to the ever-changing world of technology. Honestly, we asked ourselves the same question: who do we find? Technolene.
We really like everything we see about the company, but we love the owner, which might be more important than you realize these days. After all, who’s calling the shots, who’s the leader, what’s his personality and style? This isn’t casting for a reality TV show, but if it was, the owner of Technolene might check that box as well. His name is Louis Katz, and people love him.
He’s an amateur photographer with professional skills who, in his spare time, does stand-up at comedy clubs. He used to live in LA but now lives in Idaho. Got your attention? It has ours. Maybe someone should do a reality show about the guy? In all seriousness, it’s been his company helping that mid-organization with their IT needs that we have been talking about.
His company culture is founded in what his customers call a “ridiculously responsive” and “user-friendly IT guy,” it reminds us of the simplicity of what it takes to be successful in almost any industry. Although easier said than done, it’s interesting to see that, once again, it’s not just a team of people who have the expertise but those who respond quickly with a smile that wins market share. Combine that with reasonable prices, and it seems too good to be true, but that’s the word on the street.
Whether you’re in business looking to break out and level up, or you need someone to support your 7 figure business with sophisticated IT, you can learn from Louis Katz.
