Freelance Photographer Pamela Sisson covered the Bosco Blue Carpet event for the new Peacock Original. What makes it interesting is that beyond the typical Hollywood produced, the premiere was something the real-life Bosco put on himself. If you have been intermittent fasting tech and news of all kinds, you may have missed the crazy true storybook that’s now a movie. Otherwise, you know that this well-cast and even better-acted film is based on the true story of Quawntay “Bosco” Adams.
What you may have yet to realize is that Bosco himself went out and threw a premiere of his own with money from his own pocket to celebrate his freedom with his original book being called Chasin’ Freedum. Yes, I spelled that right because that’s how he titled the book, which is also a movie now. So here’s some cast, crew, Bosco, and 500 of his closest friends celebrating the film but also gathering for social justice, a central theme of the movie, coming in close to 70% with critics and 90% with audiences, according to Rotten Tomatoes at the time of this article.
At the premiere, we learned of upcoming speaking gigs for everything from Super Bowl parties to the International Impact Book Awards.
Not only does the film have a great cast, it has a killer soundtrack, including Snoop Dogg, Dave East, DDG, and The Game. Bosco, let us know if you’re throwing any more parties!
