Neighbors, strangers, and now lifesavers: A kidney donation connects Forsyth County family

In a heartwarming twist of fate, two neighbors in Forsyth County found an unexpected connection through a life-saving kidney donation.

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — They lived just doors away from each other for years and never met. Now, a life-saving kidney donation has connected them in a way neither ever expected.

Greg Jacobson and Cindy Woodward both called the same Forsyth County neighborhood home, but their paths didn’t cross until a Facebook post changed everything.

Greg has faced a lifetime of serious health challenges. He first needed a kidney transplant at just 29 years old.
