WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities in White County on Thursday that the wildfire on Buzzard Mountain is now 100 percent contained.
In a Facebook post around 9:30 a.m., official said the U.S. Forest Service updated the status on the containment.
Officials have been providing updates this week about the conditions. On Tuesday, officials said the fire was about 60% contained and that they had stopped its forward progress.
