A man pleaded guilty to killing a 69-year-old man on a casual stroll in a park he frequented during an attempted robbery.
LAGRANGE, Ga. — A suspect pleaded guilty on Tuesday in the killing of a 69-year-old man who was on his routine morning walk at a local park in LaGrange back in August 2023.
Police said Billy Tyler III pleaded guilty in connection with the death of 69-year-old Kenneth Stanley Dial. Investigators determined Tyler attempted to rob Dial before shooting him and fleeing the scene.
