WASHINGTON — About 36,000 Build-A-Bear plush bears are being recalled due to a potential choking hazard to children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday.
No injures have been reported in relation to the recall, the CPSC said.
The recall involves the Heartwarming Hugs weighted plush bear. About 36,000 were sold in the U.S., and 520 in Canada, at Build-A-Bear Workshop stores and online at www.buildabear.com between January and March 2026 for about $48.
