LAGRANGE, Ga. — The City of LaGrange is asking for a state investigation after discrepancies were found in the billing for the Ridley Lake Park construction project.
On April 29th, the LaGrange City Manager contacted the LaGrange Police Department regarding billing irregularities on recent invoices submitted in connection with Principle Construction’s work on the Ridley Lake Park project.
Such discrepancies were found by a city employee during review of project invoices and raised concerns about possible fraud or overcharges involving public funds.
