Atlanta Police asking community to help collect 300 pairs of jeans for teenagers in need | How to help

Community members can drop off donations at any of Atlanta Police’s six precinct locations across the city.

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is asking the community to help collect 300 pairs of jeans for teenagers in need through a new donation drive led by Police Recruit Class #300.

According to APD, recruits are seeking new or gently used jeans by May 27. The donations will benefit Lost-n-Found Youth, a nonprofit that supports homeless LGBTQIA+ youth, and Solomon’s Temple Foundation, which provides shelter and support services for homeless women and children.
