ATLANTA — Jason Esteves, one of the Democratic gubernatorial candidates that fell short in Tuesday’s primary, is throwing his support behind former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.
Bottoms secured the Democratic Party’s nomination in the May 19 primary with 56.22% — winning outright without the need for a runoff.
Unofficial election results show Esteves came in behind Bottoms with 18.67% of the vote.
