LITHONIA, Ga. — A person was detained in connection with a shooting that killed a 70-year-old woman in Lithonia, according to police.
Officers with the DeKalb County Police Department arrived at the home in the 2800 block of Davidson Drive in response to a shooting around 4:36 p.m. on May 19.
They found a 70-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. Authorities say she died of her injuries.
A suspect was detained, but police have not released their name.
