ATLANTA — A former supervisor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has pleaded guilty to theft of government funds after federal prosecutors said she submitted fake invoices that cost the agency more than $190,000.
Gwendolyn Brandon, 43, of Cumming, pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court to one count of theft of government funds, according to federal authorities.
