On Feb. 15, 2025, I was sitting in a booth in the back of Valentine Dining Hall (Val), eating dinner with a few friends. As we talked about my campaign and the Association of Amherst Students (AAS) election results, which were coming out the next day, a man in the booth next to us turned his head.
