AUGUSTA — A new University of New Hampshire poll shows presumptive Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner with a nine-percentage point lead over incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins.
The Pine Tree State Poll shows Platner at 51% and Collins at 42%. Only 6% say they are undecided, with 2% choosing “another candidate.”
Broken down by party, 91% of Democrats would vote for Platner and 87% for Collins. Independents are divided, with 47% choosing Collins and 44% Platner, the pollsters noted.
