ATLANTA — The Georgia State Patrol has released the number of accidents, including fatal ones, that took place across the state during the busy Memorial Day weekend.
Five fatal traffic crashes were investigated by troopers, and seven fatal crashes were investigated by local law enforcement, resulting in 12 deaths across the state during the 78-hour holiday travel period.
