Sabrina Carpenter gets restraining order against alleged stalker who tried to break into her house, reports say

In a declaration submitted to the court, Carpenter reportedly said she has experienced “severe and ongoing emotional distress” because of the stalking.

WASHINGTON — A Los Angeles County judge has granted a temporary restraining order to pop star Sabrina Carpenter against a man who allegedly stalked her and attempted to enter her home in the Hollywood Hills, according to multiple outlets. 

According to reporting from NBC News, the BBC and other outlets, Monday’s order prohibits 31-year-old William Applegate from coming within 100 yards of Carpenter as well as her sister, Sarah Carpenter, and her sister’s partner,
