WALTON COUNTY, Ga. — A pedestrian was hit in Walton County along Highway 81, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday afternoon.
The coroner’s office tells 11Alive the person did not survive. 11Alive’s Cody Alcorn reports the pedestrian is a construction worker.
The sheriff’s office reported the roadway was closed at Ozora Church Road around 12:30 p.m.
