AUGUSTA — House Speaker Ryan Fecteau has directed the House Ethics Committee to investigate the conduct of one of its members.
Rep. Randall Hall (R-Wilton) pleaded guilty last week to one count of unsworn falsification and one count of criminal violations of the clean election act, according to the Maine Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election Practices.
Hall, who did not return a phone call Friday seeking comment, successfully used the state’s clean election fund in three previous campaigns for office.
