New York’s 12th congressional district is a battleground over how much artificial intelligence should be regulated. The two biggest AI political action committees are both spending money targeting New York Assemblyman Alex Bores, one opposing and one supporting. Bores is a leading contender in the race that also includes fellow Assemblyman Micah Lasher and Kennedy descendant Jack Schlossberg. Several smaller PACs are also spending in support of Bores and in favor of more regulation.
