A group of U.S.-based visual effects workers across the Star Wars franchise productions have organized with IATSE.
The new bargaining unit, announced Tuesday, includes U.S. workers who contribute to titles including, but not limited to, The Mandalorian & Grogu, Ahsoka, and Star Wars: Starfighter, per the union. These VFX professionals, who “unanimously supported” union membership, will now collectively bargain with the studio on their first contract.
