This week, Janus Films will launch a new 2K restoration of Welcome II the Terrordome in U.S. cinemas, capping off a dramatic and decades-long reappraisal of the groundbreaking indie feature, written and directed by British filmmaker Ngozi Onwurah.

“We’ve been given a trailer and posters. And press kits. This is bigger than the actual first release of the film,” Onwurah joked during an interview with Deadline ahead of the release.
