BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – 25-plus hours after the first pitch, the Vermont Lake Monsters dropped game one of their best-of-three Futures League semifinal, falling 11-6 against the visiting Worcester Bravehearts. Unable to complete the game Monday due to thunderstorms rolling through Burlington, the Monsters and Bravehearts resumed the suspended contest Tuesday evening with Worcester leading 8-6 in the bottom of the fifth. The visitors would tack on three more in the top of the eighth, and Vermont never sent a runner across the plate on day two of Game 1. It was disappointing for the Monsters, who recorded five errors
