WASHINGTON, D.C. — Amid national scrutiny on Rep. Max Miller, R-Ohio, over domestic abuse allegations, Congress appears unlikely to take any actions against Miller before the election.
Miller has denied all allegations of abuse, but they have still led to calls that he resign or be censured.
Back in Washington this week, Miller deflected reporters’ questions about the impact on the allegations that he physically abused his ex-wife and daughter. He responded to a question from Spectrum News by listing some of his office’s accomplishments helping constituents.
The House Ethics Committee launched an investigation into Miller, at his own request, last month.
