DALLAS, Texas (WINK)—The first-ever midterm convention wrapped up with 20,000 attendees gathering for the two-day event.
WINK News anchor Russ McCaskey was on the ground in Dallas covering the convention. The event featured an emotional tribute to 9/11 victims as the nation approaches the 25th anniversary of the attacks on America.
The convention included a performance of Ave Maria and a special tribute for conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Vice President J.D. Vance and President Donald Trump closed out the event.
The biggest headline from the convention came when President Trump proposed giving every American adult $5,000. Democrats quickly responded to the proposal.
