More details are coming into light about the 78th Emmy Awards ahead of the September 14 ceremony which will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theater on NBC and Peacock.
Jesse Collins confirmed on Thursday that the show will honor Dolly Parton, who died recently at the age of 80. Deadline hears that the tribute will feature Parton’s longtime friend and fellow country music icon Reba McEntire who is also a NBC star, headlining the network’s hit multi-camera comedy Happy’s Place.
“Your love, your music and you gave so much with your huge huge heart,” McEntire wrote on IG
