A quiet Friday evening turned frightening for neighbors after police rushed to a Scottsdale cul-de-sac near Pima Road and McDowell Road. A man and woman were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting, police said. One neighbor said officers ran through the area carrying firearms, leaving residents scared and searching for answers. Police blocked off part of the neighborhood as detectives investigated. Authorities say there is no threat to the community, but many details about what led to the shooting remain unknown.
