Washington tow driver hikes into deep woods to rescue Uber Eats driver stranded by GPS

The driver was delivering Uber Eats and was unfamiliar with the area when he followed the GPS into the woods.

BELFAIR, Wash — A tow truck driver in Washington state said he hiked into the woods late Sunday night to help a young Uber Eats driver who became stranded after following GPS directions onto a private road.

Sam Cadle said the driver, a man in his early 20s who was unfamiliar with the area, called for help after getting stuck while making a delivery.

Cadle said the driver had been using Waze and followed directions
